Teacher cuts out the phrases and displays them around the room. The English is displayed on the white board and pupils circulate around the room finding the translation. Pupils are penalised for misspellings. This is easy to edit for all topics.

Word search whereby pupils translate 23 words which include prepositions, items in the bedroom and rooms in the house. They then find the French in the word search. Also included is a crossword containing 17 words which are items in the house. Easy to print, ideal for homework, classwork and cover work.

Pupils read a series of questions about someone's daily routine. This consolidates knowledge of daily routine, times and key vocabulary. Pupils use the answers as a prompt to either speak or write about their own daily routine.

A set of dominoes including the French for: less than, including, better, the worst, obviously, on the other hand, a lot more, however, bad, on the other side, even if, little, because of, that's to say, then, because and whilst. Great to do as a starter or for revision to reinforce common exam words.

A set of follow me cards with 22 phrases revising daily routine in the present tense. Great to consolidate as a whole class or in groups. The past and present game includes differentiated version. There is a blank template where pupils use picture prompts to write about their daily routine in the present and the past. The second version they can transform the present to the past and vice versa. The third version is a card sort whereby the teacher prints out the solution, cuts up the sentences and the pupils arrange them in the correct columns. Excellent for consolidation, review or revision.

Teacher presentation to introduce "what's important to me" . The starter is a shape puzzle that recaps on school vocab. The slide can be printed off and pupils work independently to form the triangle. The teacher then introduces 7 things that are important to them. The pupils can use dictionaries and their books to prepare speaking presentations on what is important to them. There is a worksheet with a reading text that can be used for pupils as a prompt to write their own answers. There is also a storyboard template for them to prepare a plan. This would work equally well preparing for a speaking presentation. There is also a fun Sudoku puzzle. This is a lovely lesson to use as an icebreaker with new classes. This could be extended with use of "weil"
